Hello! I'm Avery - a longtime lover of writing, and reading, and now brave enough to actually put my love out there into the vastness of the internet. I'm living in California with my dogs, a cranky cat, and a tarantula. I live as a part time artist, a full time broke University student trying for their PhD.

I've been featured in Ursa Major 2022, Lamplight Magazine, and Minnow Reads, for my writing and reviews. And I currently host over 1,500 followers over IG and Goodreads, something only a few years ago I would have never had imagined was possible. 

 

My love of all things unusual translates to my reading as well, somewhere along the line I got really into horror and fantasy. Possibly due to my love of Goosebumps as a kid. However, my strong love for reading came from a time when I got diagnosed with Epilepsy and put on a strong medication around seven years old. The mewdication caused me to forget how to read and write, and at seven I had to relearn everything involving literature and grammar. After a LOT of effort from my mother and aunts, I was able to catch up with a newfound obsession for reading. Now, unforunately, that means I spend any extra cash on books and am now severly lacking in bookcasesto hold them all.
